HOW SALT THERAPY WORKS
A machine called a Halogenerator crushes pharmaceutical grade salt into small particles and then disperses it into the air. Salt mist is then inhaled, creating a cleansing and detoxing effect in the respiratory system.
This cleansing and detoxing process helps open up constricted airways and allows for easier breathing. Salt Therapy is also great for maintaining healthy skin. Small salt particles are absorbed through the skin, providing rejuvenation of cells.
HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS
The Salt Cabin is designed for 20 minute sessions but one can stay in the Salt Cabin for up to 40 minutes. You will be offered a zero gravity reclining chair, an up right chair or a meditation cushion to sit on while relaxing. The room can seat up to 2 people if you choose. Our booth is is blue tooth compatible so you can listen to any music you’d like or we can provide spa music for you. You can add a foot, hand or scalp massage to you service.
WHAT TO WEAR DURING A SESSION
For Salt Therapy you don't need to wear any special clothing unless you are coming for skin conditions, when we recommend you wear shorts and T-shirt, to expose as much of the affected area as possible. Please bring a clean pair of socks to wear or you can purchase a pair from us if needed.
